Table AU - David Meredith tract of 160 acres

 

Note: in these deed histories distances are quoted in perches (p) of length 16.5 feet. Areas are quoted in acres (a) and square perches (p). There are 160 square perches to an acre. In a few cases roods (a quarter of an acre) are also used.

David Meredith purchased 1500 acres of land. This area was surveyed as 2 disjoint tracts of 1340 acres and 160 acres.
The area covered by this patent seems to be larger than the quoted 160 acres.
