Although there is no mention of the Presbyterian School in Mary Jones’ diary it is probable that the Jones children attended the school as it was just the other side of Swedesford Road from the farm.

The first Presbyterian School was organized in the 18th century. Presbyterian School #3 was used from 1836 to 1926.
