Report on Harley Ride
Goat Hill
We had ten bikes and eleven Harley Davidson riders from Hannum's Harley come and
visit Goat Hill Barrens today. We were then joined by another couple who ride
and had looked at Hannum's Harley for ideas of where to ride.
About half of the group joined Chris and myself for a short walk down the
power line area while the rest hung out with Henry in the parking area. Except
for one rider who goes to Nottingham County Park, none of them had heard of
serpentine barrens, let alone visited one.
Although, primarily a TNC event, we did receive $25 in donations - whoop,
whoop, yeah! There were a few of them that also claimed to wield chainsaws on a
regular basis, we will see if we have anyone follow up.
