In attendance: Henry Whitesel, Kent Wagner, Mike Waltz, and Jay Gregg.
Accomplishments: Our work today was in support of clearing the area in preparation for a prescribed burn later in the year. It was a great day to be working outside. We drove to the work area, entering the park off Ridge Road. We cleared small trees and cut stumps down to ground level. Jay Gregg and another Park employee (Sorry I did not get his name) fed tree limbs and trunks into the chipper for disposal elsewhere. In this particular area, the briars seem to be competing very well with the Serpentine grasses, and are crowding out the grass in some places.
