Nottingham County Park Activity Report
for 22nd August 2014

In attendance: Henry Whitesel, Mike Waltz, Tracy Raymond, Bill Whittaker, Jay Gregg and 2 other park rangers that I did not get the names of.

Location: Nottingham County Park.

Accomplishments:We had a totally wonderful time on a perfect fall day; sunny, not too hot and not chilly. We helped make the park look like the park. After assembling in the parking lot we walked on up to the corner of Lonesome Pine Trail and Doe Trail and set to cutting the greenbriar from around the trees. Jay had previously had the tractor mounted bush hog cut the green briar between the trees. After cutting and pulling green briar for nearly 3 hours we ate our packed lunch while sitting around getting to know the new volunteers Tracy Raymond and Bill Whittaker; and I thank them for donating their own private time to this worthy cause. We returned from the woods at 2pm feeling relaxed and refreshed from a great day in the outdoors.

Volunteer time on task: 12 hours.
