image not foundDescription: An article entitled “Scene of Opening of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair”, from the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin dated May 28, 1929, has the following caption: “Miss Peggy Cortwright is making a jump on ‘Chase’ in Class 145 of the program, a jumping class for green hunters. The event was won by Fox Catcher Farms ‘Ruby Rose’. A large crowd turned out to see the opening day’s events yesterday. More than 2,000 entrants were listed in the show."
