image not foundDescription: America’s outstanding tanbark classic, the Devon Horse Show, opened its annual one-week stand on its beautiful Lancaster Pike grounds yesterday. The weather was perfect. A colorful throng almost filled the flag-decorated grandstand shortly after the noon intermission to watch the start of the varied events. Shown here, “Atakapa” takes a jump during the Green Hunter Class competition. Published in the Inquirer, May 27, 1941.
