The 18th century house burnt down and was rebuilt in 1802.

The Glass tax returns list the following buildings: a Stone House 21’ x 17’, with 2 floors. Windows: 4 of 15 panes; 6 of 12 panes; 1 of 6 panes; and 2 of 4 panes. Additionally there was a Log Barn 30’ x 16’ and a Frame Barn of the same dimensions.

There were also 2 other stone houses on the property occupied by Abijah Stephen's son and son-in-law. One house had 2 floors and dimensions of 28’ x 18’. The windows comprised 6 windows of 12 panes and 1 window of 8 panes. The other house had 2 floors and dimensions of 24’ x 18’. The windows comprised 6 windows of 12 panes.
