As well as Joseph Hampton, who owned the cabin in 1798, other owners whose names have been used to describe the cabin are: Heyburn, Clark, and Roye. The Glass tax returns show the following buildings: Log Cabin 22’ x 20’, on 1 floor. Windows: 2 of 6 panes; 1 of 9 panes; and 1 of 4 panes. | |
