The Cox Gulch Prospects is a copper mine located in Santa Cruz county, Arizona at an elevation of 4,560 feet. The mine is situated in the Palmetto District and has small veins in joints that are pseudo-banded due to alteration and replacement. The mine is free from copper carbonates and limonite, but has some alum and copper sulfate. The MRDS data shows that all mine locations were obtained from the USGS Mineral Resources Data System, but the locations and other information in this database have not been verified for accuracy 10.
