Type of Operations

Tunnel operations. Worked sporadically from 1881 through 1908, producting some 150 tons of ore averaging about 34% Pb,24 oz. Ag/T, 2% Cu and 0.1 oz. Au/T.5

Geology

Irregular and lensing quartz-fissure veins containing brecciated and altered wall rock, gouge, and streaks and shoots of argentiferous galena, tetrahedrite, argentite chalcopyrite, and pyrite in Jurassic granite cut by lamprophyre dikes. Possible uranium reported but not confirmed.5
