Goat Hill Activity Report

for 24th June 2003

In attendance: Jim Dudley, Ruth Galantino, Mike Bertram

Accomplishments: Planted the remainder of Ruth's prairie dropseed plants in the scraped area. Continued work on the area of grass under trees at the south end of the TNC property.

Issues:The continued growth of the locust saplings in the scraped area is of concern. I think we should herbicide those plants outside the study areas. If my memory is correct, Fall was the best time to do this work. Could we schedule a day to undertake the work?
