Goat Hill Activity Report

for 2nd June 2006

In attendance: Jim Dudley, Henry Whitesel, Kent Wagner, Mike Bertram

Accomplishments: Finished stumping by Red Pump Road. The wood is stacked by the roadside in the hope that people that have taken the firewood in the past will take this as well. I suspect we will have to dispose of most of it ourselves.

Issues: If we had known how much effort and discomfort (we have all suffered from poison ivy, from mild to severe symptoms) the project would require I suspect we would not have started. The stumping was the worse. In the future we need to budget for a dozer to take out the stumps in similar projects. This (as well as other projects) would run a lot smoother if we had ready access to a brush hog.
