for 19th July 2012

In attendance: Henry Whitesel and Mike Waltz

Accomplishments: We started at 0900 and quit about noon due too excess heat. We performed routine maintenance in Area 1. Mike cut green briar and small invasive saplings while I cut and cleared trees that had fallen into the unit by the big wet snow storm in Feb of 2011. In general the serpentine grasses are doing very well in area 1, with an occasional spot of invasive green briar.
