Description: Images LAB15 and LAB16 were taken by Lucy Sampson during or slightly before 1908. But whereas images LAB13 and LAB14 were taken in the summertime with full foliage, this picture is taken after the leaves have fallen – perhaps the early spring of 1908. With the foliage removed one can clearly see six fairly substantial houses sitting next to one another on the north side of Paoli Road … all of which remain in 2014. On the south side of the intersection of Paoli and Leopard roads, the agricultural field has given way in 2014 to a Goodwill donation center and a store called Play It Again Sports. - Herb Fry and Roger Thorne
