General State: Dry Recent Weather: Dry Blazing: none Signage: signs at northern end and District Road. No sign at southern end. Status: North of District Road: The forest road is well maintained with many drainage features. There is substantial entrencement in places. South of District Road: generally loose stony surface, many areas of standing water on trail, entrencement in places with water channels running down road track. GPS Readings: Ends: 39.8897 N, 77.4715W and 39.8607 N, 77.4793W The trail is a 2.2 miles from the end of the paved section of the road south to paved section in South Mountain township.
