Trail Report: Rocky Knob Spur trail

Rocky Knob Spur

General State: This trail connects Birch Run road and its nearby parking area with the Rocky Knob Loop.

Blazing: orange

Signage: none

Status: This trail, which is very rocky in places, starts near the south end by crossing Knob Run. The constructed stone and wood crossing probably needs to be reconstructed after each flood. The north end of the spur is steep is being eroded by water running down the trail.

GPS Readings: Ends: 39.9503N, 77.4450W and 39.9575N, 77.4454W

The trail is 0.6 miles long.
