Dead and Injured In Blast at Devon Fireworks Plant |
Source: unknown Identified dead: Vidar Antonio, 76, Old Lancaster Pike, Devon. Luizo Purizzo, 40, Devon. Josephine Capelli, address unknown. The Injured James Ipri, 1836 Morris Street, Philadelphia, in critical condition with burns that charred his entire body. Mary Di Cimoni, Lancaster Pike, Devon, cuts and bruises. Gertrude Sprouls, Lancaster Pike, Devon, fracture of bones of the face. Irwin Gill, Green Tree Road, Devon, cuts and bruises. Dominick Juliano, 2144 Moore Street, severely burned. Joseph Walters, 125 Daly Street, Philadelphia, cuts. Esther North, 4101 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, cuts on face and head. Frank Whitehead, 250 Aberdeen Avenue, Wayne, PA. cuts. Saul Manning, 1704 North 52d Street, Philadelphia, both arms broken. Angelina Chicarelli, 18 Devon. Pellegrino di Massi, 726 Catherine Street, Philadelphia, cuts and bruises. Concetta Tates, 50, Lancaster Pike, Devon, severe burns. Max Schwartz. Eva Flowers. Mary Keithley. Eva Warren. Mrs. Rose Lemonoff, 32, South Devon and Morris Roads, Strafford. Leslie Thompson, 29, of 319 Stonehurst Apartments, Upper Derby, cut by glass shattered where he worked three miles from the scene of the blast. Mrs. Michael Miles, Old Lancaster Road, opposite scene of the blast, cuts on face. Mrs. Joseph Epps, Old Lancaster Road, opposite scene of the blast, cuts on face.
