Will be sold, on the premises near the 16th milestone, on the Lancaster turnpike, on Friday the 27th day of October next, at two o’clock in the afternoon, two tracts of land, (late the property of William Neill, deceased,) one of the tracts is bounded by lands of Joseph Potter and others, lying between the Old Lancaster Road and the turnpike, containing about 13 acres, divided into convenient fields, with thorn fences; there is on the premises, a large 3 story stone house, 2 rooms on the first floor and 3 on each floor above; a good store house, lately occupied as a store; a chair or carriage house and milk house, all of stone; a well of good water and a large orchard containing a number of choice fruit trees. A portion of the above tract fronts the turnpike road. It is a desirable situation for business. The other tract is bounded by lands of James Gamble, Griffith Weatherby and Joseph Potter, and the Lancaster turnpike road, containing about 45 acres, 8 of which are woodland, divided into convenient fields - chiefly by thorn fences. There is on the premises, a good stone house, (nearly new) with two rooms on the first floor and 3 above, and a cellar under the whole; a well of excellent water near the door; a good stone barn with stabling underneath, and a orchard of excellent fruit trees; the greater part has lately limed, is in a good state of cultivation and will be sold by Margaret Neill, executrix American Republican, 3rd October 1830 |
