11.14.1821 Village Record
Valley Farm for Sale.
Pursuant to an Order of the
Orphans' Court held at Westchester, in
and for the county of Chester, on the 7th
day of November, A.D. 1821, before
Isaac Darlington, Esq. President, and his
Associate Judges, will be exposed to
public sale, on Saturday the first day of
December next, at one o'clock in the
afternoon, on the premises, a valuable tract
of land situate in Tredyffrin township,
Chester county, about one mile north of
the Paoli, and within 18 miles of
Philadelphia, bounded by land of Daniel
Baugh, David Wilson, John Howall and
others ; containing about 76 acres, late
the estate of John Baugh, dec'd. There
are on the premises a large stone dwelling
house, log barn, spring house over an
excellent spring of water, and an apple
orchard. A stream of water runs by the
kitchen door. The above property is
well watered and divided into convenient
fields, with a proportion of woodland and
meadow. Any person wishing to view
the property, may apply to Mrs. Baugh,
living on the premises, or to either of
the subscribers.
