WILL of Thomas Abrams, 1844

 

I Thomas Abrams of the Township of Charlestown in the County of Chester do make and publish this my last will and testament hereto revoking and make void all former wills by me of any time hereto, ? made And first I direct that my body be decently interd and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding to my estate and situation in life And as to such worldly estate as it has pleased God, to intrust me with I dispose of the same as follows

First I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the first money that ? come into the hands of my Executrix from any portions of my estate real or personal shall be and remains my wifes ? during her natural life or so long as she shall remain my widow and in case of her marriage she shall ? the interest of one third after her decease or marriage it shall be and remain the property of my son Thomas Abrams and in case of his death before he arrives at the age of twenty one it shall be divided among my other children share and share alike, I also direct and bequeath to my son James the sum of fifty cents. To my daughter Hannah the sum of one dollar fifty cents. My daugher Mary the sum of ten dollars, and to the other of my children the sum of one dollar each

And I do also direct hereby make and ordain my wife Hager(?) exectrix of this my last will and testament ? witness whereof I ? as Ambram the testator have to this my will set my hand and seal this 14th day of November 1844
