Jeremiah Wyman House

By a deed1 dated 10/21/1885 Jeremiah Wyman purchased a tract of 0.76 acres next to the Devon station from Coffin & Altemus (the developers of Devon). By 1887 he had built a twin house as shown on the atlas of that date2.

Taxes 1887 - first entry, valuation $4,000.

Taxes 1888 - 1896 - valuation $4,000.

Jeremiah Wyman did not sell the property before he died in 19203. He did sell a slice of 0.315 acres to the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1886.
