(Deaths at Paoli)

About 12 o’clock Monday night Robert Reily and Terrence McGannan were instantly killed at Paoli by being struck with the engine of a coal train. It is said they were fighting with each other at the time the train swooped around the curve, and when struck were carried a distance of about one hundred yards on the cowcatcher of the engine. Their bodies were mangled considerably, and Deputy Coroner David held an inquest on them, at which a verdict in accordance with the above facts was rendered. Both men were employed by Mr. Lemmon, contractor, in the work of straightening the road at that point.
