Isaacher Evans’ mortgage

Date: 29 August 1893

In the Court of Common Pleas of Chester County Pa.

In the matter of the petition of Robert McCoy and Alexander McCoy for the satisfaction of a mortgage executed by Isaacher Evans to Leah Evans and Elisabeth Evans, dated Feb. 6 1789  and recorded the Recorder's Office of Chester County in Mortgage Books C vol. 3, page 228, to secure payment of $1066.64.

And now, Aug. 29, 1893, the affidavit of Robert L. Hayes, Sheriff of said county, having been presented, setting forth that the holder or holders of said mortgage cannot be found in said county, and making proof, of publication of notice to said holder or holders, in accordance with the decree of the Court heretofore made, which proof is hereby adjudged sufficient , and no one appearing to answer the foregoing petition, and the Court, after due consideration, being satisfied of the truth of the facts there in contained:

It is now ordered and decreed that satisfaction be entered on the record of said mortgage by the Recorder of Deeds of the County of Chester upon payments to him of the costs due relative to the entry of said mortgage and any proceedings thereon.
