A Plantation or Tract of Land,

12.19.1817 Chester and Delaware Federalist
FOR SALE
Agreeably to an order of Orphans Court,
will be sold, at public sale, on the
premises, on Third day the 30th of the
Twelfth month (December) instant,
A Plantation, or Tract of Land,
Late the property of Paul Conard, deceased ;
containing 75 acres -- situated in the
township of Tredyffrin, Chester county -
adjoining lands of Robert Kennedy,
Andrew Garden, Joseph Conard and others ;
about 15 acres of which is covered with
excellent timber. The arable land is
under good fence, and divided into convenient
fields of from five to twelve acres ; there
is on the premises a good bearing apple
orchard of superior fruit ; a great variety of
cherries plums, peaches, quinces, &c;. &c;
The improvements are a good two story
House, part stone and part frame ; a stone
milkhouse with a pump of excellent water ;
the whole being handsomely situated in the
corner of the roads leading from the
Lancaster turnpike to the Gulph Mills, and
from the Great Valley to the turnpike;
about a half mile from the Spread Eage
tavern on the aforesaid turnpike, and 15
miles from Philadelphia.
Also - At the same time and place, and
adjoining the above, will be sold a number of
CHESNUT TIMBER LOTS,
of from two to five acres each, which lots
will be laid out convenient to the aforesaid
roads ; about two miles from the King of
Prussia, five from the Swedes Ford and
one from the Spread Eagle. Sale to begin
at 12 o'clock on said day, when attendance
will be given and conditions made known
