MARGARET NEILL.
Feb. 16th, 1820. 32--et
N.B. For sale, by the subscriber, several
thousand European Thorn Quicks, ready for
planting this spring.

William Neill was a tobacconist who lived in Tredyffrin. He purchased and sold a number of properties.

This property was mainly in Easttown. In 1821 Margaret Neill attempted to sell the property. She may have sold part of the plantation between the times of the 2 advertisements, explaining the differences in the area quoted.

Eventually a tract of around 40 acres was sold on the west side of Berwyn. It was acquired by Mary A. Lewis in the 1870s and her tract is shown on Breou's 1883 atlas:

The Mary A. Lewis deed history can be found here.
