02.08.1837 Village Record PRIVATE SALE
Farm for Sale WILL be offered at private sale, a first rate tract of LAND, in the highest state of cultivation, containing four acres and forty perches, situate in Tredyffrin township.
Chester county, one quarter of a mile from the Paoli, and immediately opposite the Black Bear, on the Lancaster turnpike. -- The Pennsylvania rail road passes through the centre, and the Great Valley road along the east end : there is a young thriving apple orchard, now in its prime, and a variety of choice fruit. The improvements are a convenient two story stone HOUSE, having two rooms and an entry on the lower floor, and four on the upper, with a large and convenient kitchen adjoining, a well of excellent water near the door; the whole is cellared under with dry and comfortable cellars. It is a first rate stand for a store, and one has been kept to advantage many years. It is a very eligible situation for a mechanic or physician. Title indisputable. William Guthrie.
