PUBLIC SALE BY virtue of an alias order of the Orphans' Court of Chester County, the subscribers, administrators of John Roger, late of Salisbury township, dec'd, will offer at public sale, on the premises, on Saturday, the 25th day of January, 1840, the following WOOD LOTS, situate in Tredyffrin and Charlestown townships, near the Valley Forge in said county, to wit:
Lot no. 2, situate in Tredyffrin, bounded by lands of Wm Richardson and others, containing 5 acres and 35 perches.
Lot no. 3, situate in Tredyffrin, bounded by lands of John Brown, Horatio Wade, Wm ? Richardson and others, containing 27 and or quarter acres.
Lot no. 4, also situate in Tredyffrin township, bounded by lands of Joshua Malin, the lot last mentioned, and the lot next hereinafter mentioned, and the Valley Creek, containing 7 acres and 18 perches.
Lot no. 5, situate in Charlestown township, bounded by lands of Joshua Malin, John Maxwell and James Davis, the lot last mentioned and the Valley Creek, containing 12 acres and 50 perches.
These lots are well timbered with chesnut and oak, and are about one mile from the Schuylkill river and reading railroad, and __? miles from the Columbia railroad. The conditions will be made known on the day of sale. REBECCA H. ROGERS, CHARLES ROGERS, Dec 31 Admr's.
