The subscriber will sell at private sale, a valuable country property, containing EIGHT ACRES of farm land and FOUR of Woodland, suitable for a boarding school or public house, situate in Tredyffrin township, Chester county, on the Lancaster Turnpike and Columbia Railroad, 18 miles from Philadelphia by the turnpike ; consisting of a large stone House, 51 feet front by 35 feet deep, with a two story Kitchen attached, 26 by 23 feet, well finished, with lodging rooms above, cellar under the whole, and two pumps, one convenient to the kitchen and the other in front of the house. In the main house there are 4 rooms and a hall on the lower and 6 rooms on the second floor. There is a large stone Barn on the premises, 45 by 30 feet, with Stabling and Carriage House attached, together with Tenant House, Ice house, Smoke house, Hen house and sheds, and fountain pump in the barn yard. A good Cellar under the Mansion House. These buildings are in good order, having lately been renewed, and the land is in a good state of cultivation, and well fenced. This property is handsomely located about half way between West Chester and Norristown, 9 miles from each place, and in a healthy and intelligent neighborhood. A communication between Philadelphia and this place can be had 4 times a day by the railroad, Persons wishing to view the premises, will call on the subscriber, residing thereon. Oct. 26, 1847.
