FOR SALE. - On Thursday, the 26th day of
September next, will be sold on the premises,
at public sale, by order of the Orphans' Court
of Chester county, the following real estate, late
the property of William Walley, deceased, devised
to the children of Anna Maria Davis, deceased,
under the will of the said William Walley,
deceased, a lot of land, containing 2 ACRES
and 24 PERCHES, more or less, in the township
of Tredyffrin, situated in the village of Howeltown, [sic] [Howelville]
at the junction of the Swede's Ford [Swedesford] road
and a road leading to the Lancaster turnpike, and
about two miles from the Paoli, on the Columbia
railroad, and Lancaster turnpiKe, and about 17
miles from Philadelphia, 8 from Norristown and
10 from West Chester, whereon are erected two
stone Dwelling Houses, two frame stables,
Smith Shop and Shoemaker Shop, which
are doing a good busines.[sic] The land is of excellent
quality. Sale to commence at 2 o'clock on

N.B. - The above lot is situate about 100
yards from the location of the Norristown and
