The Paoli Heights Land Company Application for corporate charter
11.19.1881 L
- An application will be made for the charter of an intended corporation to be called "The Paoli Heights Land Company." Above language is cut off, but appears to read: Judge Wilson, ?, Common Pleas Court No. 4, Philadelphia, has made a preliminary decree, directing that the application of the Paoli Heights Land Company for dissolution, be advertised. Thew company is a Pennsylvania corporation, and was organized for the purchase and sale of land, its principal operations being in Delaware county. It is asserted that all debts and obligations of the company have been discharged and its assets distributed among the stockholders, who held a duly convened meeting on July 17 last, and adopted a resolution to discontinue the business of the company and wind up its affairs. The petition for dissolution is signed by Samuel R. Shipley, President, and attested by J. Robert Foulke, Secretary and Treasurer.
