Mansion House at Valley Forge

Mansion House of Valley Forge
Parke and Bushong for no-license
Gilkyson for hotel. T.C. Steward and
F.Wolf, proprietors.
Charged with being unfit to hold a
license and not obeying the requirements
of the law.
Charles Seigmann: "I got drunk at
the Mansion House at Valley Forge
with Wm. McCloskey, a liquor agent,
and Mr. Stewart, also got a bottle of
liquor while full. I am on the 'fla__"
list in Phoenixville."
T.C. Stewart: "I am one of the proprietors
of the Mansion House at
Valley Forge, known Seignman, he has
been served at our hotel, was then
drinking with Mr. McCloskey, but was
not drunk, left at 5:30 in the afternoon and
returned again at 7:15, was drunk
when he came back and sat on a chair
in front of the hotel He went to get
up and fell and cut his head. We took
care of him. We did not sell or ?
credit to him.
Wm. McCloskey, liquor agent, testified
to the same general facts.
