Abel Lewis and his descendants

Abel Lewis was born in Radnor, in 1766, and died in Tredyffrin in 1835.

In 1796 Abel purchased a tract of 26 acres in Tredyffrin1. In 1798 he and his family lived in a 2 storey stone house 25' by 18'.

In 1831 Abel was the executor for his friend Anthony Freeman, a man of color.

Abel and Catherine Tucker had the following children: Joseph, Harriet, Emily, Sarah, Jonathan T., Elizabeth I., and Mary2.
