Land Sale by Jones family (1762)

TO be sold, by public Vendue, on Monday, the 22d Day of this inst. March, on the Premises, A valuable Plantation, situated in Tredyffrin, in Chester County, 18 Miles from Philadelphia, adjoining the great Road leading from the Swedes Ford to Lancaster, within a Mile of Joseph Mitchell's Mill, containing about 148 Acres of good Land, about one Half cleared, 16 of which is good Meadow, and more may be made; a large and good bearing Orchard; the Corn Land very good, and the Wood Land well timbered; a good Stone Dwelling house, Stone Spring hose, Barn and Stables; also a very good Limestone Quarry, with a Kiln ready made, and another Quarry of Tile Stones.

N.B. There is a Lot, adjoining the above, of about 30 Acres, with a Log house, a Stone Chimney, with two hearths, and two Rooms on the lower Floor, a Stable and Spring house, very fit for a Tradesman. Said Premises may be sold together or separate, as it may best suit the Buyer. The Sale to begin at 12 o'clock, on said Day, where due Attendance, and reasonable Credit, will be given by LYDIA JONES, SAMUEL JOHNS, THOMAS JONES.
