Paoli Hardware has made place for self |
Attractive Storage of Advantage to CommunitySupplies Quality Goods at Big City PricesStarted two years ago, the hardware store next to the post office at Paoli has stepped into a place of prominence in the community under the direction of George W. Clemmans, proprietor. It carries a fine line of well selected hardware of all kinds; household supplies; paints, of which it has the well known at Art Glo quick drying enamels, the Wallhide line and the du Pont manufacturers. Allied Mills feeds are supplied, garden sprays of all kinds, screen doors and windows, and both Pennsylvania and Eclipse lawn mowers. Bruist’s seeds are another specialty. This more than a century old seed house is recognized as a leader, and the quality of the seeds supplied make sit a matter of interest to a people who have learned that more and better plants can be grown from superior seeds. Mr. Clemmans prides himself somewhat on the fact that he supplies the people of Paoli and vicinity with their needs in wide variety at Philadelphia prices. Yet with the low prices he has not failed to be discriminating in his stock. No trashy things are tolerated because they can be sold cheap. Good merchandise, well handled, at fair prices, is the appeal of the store, which had made it popular around Paoli. Newspaper article, 1934. |
