Reparation Claims for damages during the British Army transiting the township in 1777

 

In 1782 a list of Reparations claimed for damages by the British Army in Chester County was created. These were damages caused by the British Army during the Revolutionary War, but mainly during the march of the army to Philadelphia in mid-September 1777 Easttown township. Some of the claimants were not Easttown landowners but they may have been renting property. The people on the list are as follows:
