A valuable lot of land

To be sold,
AT PUBLIC SALE,
On Saturday the 27th day of January, at
one o'clock,
A Valuable Lot of Land,
Situate in Tredyffrin township, Chester
county, half a mile north of the Spread Eagle,
on the Philadelphia and Lancaster
turnpike road, containing about 15 acres of
good land, three of which are woodland,
three acres of meadaw, [meadow], and the rest good
plowland, laying to a southerly exposure, all
enclosed with good fences. The improvements
are a god [good] log house, two stories high,
with a kitchen adjoining, and a good log
barn. There is on said premises, a never-
failing spring of good water with a house
over the same, and a well of good water
near the house, with a new pump in it, -- all
in good order and is well worth the attention
of the mechanic. A further description
is deemed unnecessary, as it is presumable
that any person wishing to purchase will
view the same, which will be shewn by the
subscriber, or Edward Siter at the Spread
Eagle. The sale to be held on the premises.

This attempted sale seems to have been unsuccessful as no sale deed has been found. See the Richard Hunt patent, table K.2.2 for the deed history. A previousunsuccessful attempt to sell the property was made in 1813.
