Public Sale Mansion Farm, Detwiler, deceased, 107 Acres, and separate 11 Woodland acres

BY virtue of an order of the Orphans' Court
of Chester county, will be sold at Public
Sale, on thursday the 16th of November
next, at one o'clock, P.M., all that Mansion
FARM, late the property of Jacob Detwiler,
deceased, situate in the township of Tredyffrin,
in the county of Chester, on this road leading
from Howelville to the Lancaster turnpike.
this property is about three-fourths of a mile
from the Lancaster pike and the Columbia railroad,
and about 18 miles from Philadelphia,
bounded by lands of Charles Thompson, David
Reese and others, containing 107 Acres
and 61 perches.
The Improvements are a
large two story stone HOUSE,
built for two families, with three
never-failing springs near the
house; two spring houses, a large stone barn,
with a never-failing spring at the barn-yard;
wagon house and other out buildings necessary
for a farm. There is a good orchard of
choice fruit trees. The land is in a good state
of cultivation, under good fene, divided into
convenient fields; a large proportion is Woodland
and Meadow; a large body of limestone
on the same. This property is one of the
most desirable that has been offered for sale
in the neighborhood for some time, for a dairy
farm, &c.
Also, at the same time and place, will
be sold 11 Acres of Woodland, of very heavy
timber, situate in Easttown township, Chester
county, bounded by lands of Benjamin
Wetherby, Esq., John Kughler ? and others, lying
near the Lancaster turnpike and Columbia
railroad. Persons wishing to view the
property before the sale, will please call on Abraham
Haldeman, residing on the first mentioned
