Plantation and Tract of Land, 42 acres

11.11.1851 American Republican
BY virtue of a writ of venditioni exponas to me
directed, will be sold at public sale on Thursday,
the 11th day of December next, at one o'clock,
P.M. at the Court House, in the borough of
West Chester, Chester county, a certain Messuage,
Plantation and Tract of Land, situate in the
township of Tredyffrin, in the county aforesaid
bounded by lands of Andrew Bowman, George
Bowman, Charles Thomas, Jonathan Moore,
Elizabeth Mullen, John Wilds, James Carr and
others, containing 42 acres 7 perches, more or
less, with the appurtenances. The land is of a
good quality and very productive, and is well watered
and fenced, with a good proportion of Meadow
and Woodland for the same. There is an
Apple Orchard and fruit trees of different kinds
on the premises. The improvements consist of a
two story stone House, with kitchen attached,
and finished in modern style. -
There is a stone spring house over a never failing
spring, near the dwelling - and the water from
the spring, near the dwelling - and the water from
the spring is forced to the house and barn by a
Hydraulic ram. Stone barn, hay house, corn
crib, and outer out buildings all in good repair. -
Seized and taken in execution as the property of
Samuel Givens.
