The Lincoln Institution and other corporations as described in Chester County deed K16-598 (1924)

The Lincoln Institution, a corporation incorporated by the Act of the General Assembly of Pennsylvania, approved May 9th 1866 (Pamphlet laws 1076) and located in the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania. By decree entered October 9th 1915 by Court of Common Pleas No. 4, of Philadelphia County, as of June term 1915, No. 5361, the said Lincoln Institution and Educational Home, also a corporation created by Charter approved by the Judges of the Supreme Court of the State of Pennsylvania, on the 4th day of November 1871, and enrolled in the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth in Charter Book vol. 8, page 422, merged and were consolidated by the name, style, and title of Lincoln Educational Institution. By decree entered July 11th 1921 by Court of Common Pleas No. 5, of Philadelphia County, as of June term 1921, No. 1842, The Big Brother Association, a corporation formed and existing under the provisions of an Act of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, entitled “An Act to provide for the Incorporation and regular for Certain Corporations,” approved April 29, 1874, and several supplements thereto, having been incorporated by degree entered February 18, 1918, by the court of Common Pleas no. 5, of Philadelphia, as of March Term 1917, No. 5487 and the Evening Home and Library Association, a corporation formed and existing under the said Act of Assembly approved April 29, 1874, and the several supplements thereto, having been incorporated by decree entered February 2, 1894, by the Court of Common Pleas No. 3 of Philadelphia County, as of December term 1893, No. 832, merged and were consolidated by the name, style, and title of The Big Brother Association (Evening Home Merged.) By decree entered November 27, 1922 by the Court of Common Pleas No. 5 of Philadelphia County, as of September Term, 1922, No. 6288, the said Big Brother Association (Evening Home Merged) and the said Lincoln Educational Institution merged, and were consolidated by the name, style, and title of Big Brother Association (Evening Home Merged) (Lincoln Educational Institution merged).
