This calendar shows an outline of the Society’s activities throughout the year. No year’s activities completely follow this outline. The meetings are normally held on the 3rd Monday of the month. The bird trips are typical ones but may not take place evry year; others will be scheduled (see the home page of the web site for forthcoming trips).

January: Meeting with election of Board Members and Committee Chairs for the year.

February: No meeting this month; trip to Pine Grove Furnace State Park.

March: Meeting; trip to Middle Creek.

April: Annual Lunch; trip to Lily Pons Water Gardens, Frederick County, MD; No meeting this month.

May: Trip to Spangler Spring Area At Gettysburg National Military Park.

June: Trip to Pennsylvania State Game Lands #249.

July: No meeting this month.

August: Annual picnic. No meeting this month.

September: Meeting and trip to the “Pulpit” Hawk Watch at Tuscarora Ridge.

October: Meeting and trip to Antietam National Battlefield, Sharpsburg, MD.

November: Meeting and birding trip.

December: The Christmas Bird Count is the first Saturday after the 13th. No meeting this month.
